Funding Goal

Fund international R&D&I projects that create circular value creation systems — developing marketable products, services, and processes that enable ecologically meaningful, value-retaining use of materials through increased longevity, reuse, and recycling across B2C and B2B contexts.

Funding Amount

EUR 50,000–300,000 per Danish partner; EUR 500,000 maximum total for multiple Danish partners. Funding rates: 25–90% depending on organization type. SMEs: 75% industrial research / 50% experimental development. Research institutions: up to 90%. (50.000 € – 500.000 €)

How to Apply

Two-stage process: (1) Submit application to EUREKA Network secretariat by the call deadline. (2) Within 2-4 weeks after deadline, IFD invites Danish partners to upload documentation via e-grant portal including grant acceptance, individual budget sheets, Gantt diagrams, and signed Consortia Agreement. Evaluation covers quality of idea, impact, and quality of execution, scored 1-6 by national evaluators. Funding decisions approximately 5 months after deadline.

Eligibility

• Consortium must include at least two independent legal entities from at least two participating EUREKA countries (17 countries including Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Austria, France, etc.)
• Danish partners must be registered Danish legal entities (enterprise, research institution, or public institution) with a CVR number
• Applicants must not be 'undertakings in difficulty' under EU state aid rules

Project Scope

• Projects must address circular value creation beyond recycling-only — covering product design, reuse, longevity, and systemic value chains
• Projects must address three perspectives: systemic/value chain aspects, business models/smart services, and people/skills in circular processes

Required Documents

• Submit application to EUREKA secretariat by call deadline, then upload national documents (grant acceptance, budget sheets, Gantt diagram, signed Consortia Agreement) to IFD e-grant
• Provide SME declaration (if applicable), no-undertaking-in-difficulty declaration, and financial/legal declaration (non-public organizations)
