Programmes must be designed to become largely self-sustaining after the grant period
Partners must respect and safeguard rights, needs, and traditional knowledge of Indigenous peoples and local communities

Historical Context

DOB Ecology is an established Dutch family foundation with ANBI charitable status. It currently maintains approximately 25 active programmes globally, including projects in the Amazon, Atlantic Forest (Brazil), Gran Chaco (Argentina), Sahel (West Africa), and various mangrove conservation sites in Africa.
