Application Checklist

Eligibility

• Project must be based in or directly benefit a Caribbean Small Island Developing State (SIDS)
• Applicant must be an organization (government, civil society, or private sector) active in the Caribbean region

Project Scope

• Project must address marine pollution reduction, waste management improvement, or circular economy transition
• Project should demonstrate scalability and replicability potential across the Caribbean
• Project must foster partnerships among governments, civil society, and/or businesses

Required Documents

• Stage 1: Submit concept note demonstrating alignment with ACE Facility objectives
• Stage 2 (if shortlisted): Submit full proposal with detailed implementation plan

Historical Context

The ACE Facility's first call was launched in 2024 and funded projects tackling plastic waste and promoting community-led recycling in multiple Caribbean SIDS. The second call was announced at the ACE Facility October Meeting Series in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, 14–16 October 2025.
