Summary

The Allianz Foundation, based in Berlin, runs an annual grants program supporting innovative projects in Europe and the Mediterranean. Budget: EUR 80,000–200,000 per project, maximum 24-month duration, starting no earlier than August 1 of the grant year. At least 25% co-funding required. Up to 20% of project costs may be requested as administrative costs without documentation.

Historical Context

The 2025 grants program ran under the theme of systemic change. The 2024 program was titled 'Fixing what's broken. Together!' and funded 12 projects. The foundation has previously also run the Climate Cultures Call (focused on climate and arts) and the Risktakers Fellowship. Annual cycles with regular open calls.
