Historical Context

PAA is an initiative housed at Temasek Trust in Singapore. It runs an annual Philanthropy Asia Summit (2026 edition scheduled May 18-20). The Amplifier program supported five impact startups in 2024 focused on climate and nature solutions, and expanded to three thematic tracks in 2025 (Textiles circularity, Tourism sustainability, Fair employment). The network includes major global foundations such as Gates Foundation and Rockefeller Foundation alongside regional players.
